Morakniv.
The first knife I ever owned was a Morakniv 120 carving knife. I’ve been using this and other Morakniv products for the 23 years I’ve been carving, and they still offer the sharpest blades around. Full disclosure, I am a Morakniv brand ambassador for Australia, but I am proud to associate my name and reputation as a carver with these amazing knives.
Gränsfors Bruk.
When I first started carving, there was one tool I wanted the most: a Gränsfors Bruk axe. It took me a while to get there, but the Gränsfors Bruk Wildlife Hatchet that I bought all those years ago is still my main axe I use for carving, small tree harvesting and limbing. It’s now like an extension to my arm and probably my most treasured tool.
