Slöjd, a Swedish word that for many hundreds of years has referred to being self sufficient through the act of craft. Simple tools. Simple techniques. Build anything. Modern slöjd is this and more. We have become jaded with urgency, speed and the need to do everything. Modern slöjd is the slow to our fast. Modern slöjd is self survival.
